Clearfield® ZoneBox

The ZoneBox is a robust ceiling-mounted or below-raised-floor solution designed for secure fiber optic communication networks in defense environments. Leveraging our expertise in fiber-to-the-home networks, the ZoneBox extends those proven benefits into enterprise settings such as offices, user stations, and conference rooms, delivering high-speed connectivity with simplified pathways and secure access.

When deploying fiber to the desktop in sensitive settings, the ZoneBox acts as an intermediate consolidation point, breaking out multi-fiber distribution cables into individual drops. It enables efficient multi-classification runs by consolidating separate color-coded pathways (e.g., red networks) into a single sheathed cable, reducing conduit and tray fill. This distributed approach minimizes disruptions, supports government approvals and standards, and lowers the cost of provisioning and upgrades compared to centralized architectures.

How Can We Help?

Product Details

Utilizing the Clearview® Blue Cassette, the ZoneBox provides a ceiling-mount or below-raised-floor enclosure for enterprise applications. It scales from 12 to 144 SC ports (or 24 to 288 LC ports), complete with an integrated ceiling tile support bracket and all-thread bracket for below-floor applications. The ZoneBox is a durable enclosure engineered to protect fiber terminations in high-security settings. Access is provided by a hinged cover with keyed security to restrict unauthorized entry.

Engineered for rapid deployment in conduit, ladder rack, or wire tray pathways, the ZoneBox system prioritizes craft-friendly features, ensuring intuitive fiber jumper routing and reliable access to all connections. This facilitates quick network additions or reconfigurations without disturbing zone-to-user cabling in walls, raised floors, or drop ceilings.
