At Level 3, learners transition from online coursework—where they earned badges and certificates for Apprentice and Journeyman courses—to applying their knowledge in the field. This advanced certification focuses on demonstrating mastery of Clearfield product solutions and best-practice installation techniques through a field assessment verified by an authorized Clearfield representative.

By achieving Level 3 certification, contractors gain official recognition as Clearfield Certified Partners. Once employees successfully complete all required product training for a given environment—Inside Plant, Outside Plant, or Access Networks—their company credentials will be displayed on Clearfield’s website, allowing customers to locate a Clearfield Certified Contractor for their fiber builds.

Field Assessment Options:

First-Time Install Support

A Clearfield Training and Support team member will provide real-time guidance during an actual field installation. This support includes tips and best practices to help technicians become confident in following recommended procedures for installing Clearfield products.

Classroom – In-Person and/or Virtual

A Clearfield Training and Support team member will lead a hands-on session, providing a realistic environment for participants to practice installation procedures for Clearfield product solutions. Note: Options 1 and 2 are available for teams of 4 or more participants from the same company.

Video Submission

Technicians can upload a video demonstrating their installation of the product solution(s). A Clearfield Training and Support team member will evaluate the video to ensure the practical knowledge gained online is accurately applied. Clearfield will provide detailed guidelines for this option.
