It has always been, and will always be. People get things done, not corporations. It is the people we trust to do the work.
While on the road recently, I had a business meeting and I was surprised to see some familiar faces sitting around the table. The last time I saw them, they were with different companies. One company out, two more in, but many of the faces stay the same.
We really are linked in a small circle in this industry. There are only so many of us that do what we do — certainly more than 52 and without a doubt a few jokers in the deck; but we do have more than our share of face cards.
It’s not the logo on the business card but the character of the person carrying it that matters. It has always been that way, and will always be.
