Product Details

Clearfield® NOVA Enterprise level intelligent and standard Power Distribution Units (PDUs) at the equipment or data center rack are a vital point in the power chain for the continuous uptime of critical services. Clearfield offers 1-Phase and 3-Phase iPDUs for high density server and networking applications, allowing customers to consolidate more equipment into fewer racks. With a 0RU footprint, NOVA iPDUs fit into any full-size Clearfield NOVA Network or Server Cabinets with ease without taking up any RU spacing in the equipment rack.

Intelligent 1-Phase or 3-Phase Internet Protocol PDUs (ZS and ZSI Models) are embedded with dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for remote IP access, while standard PDUs (M Models) offer serial connectivity. All PDU series feature newly designed smart meters with combo C13/C19 and standard C13 outlets.

Monitored and switched iPDU models are available to provide comprehensive remote monitoring and on/off outlet switching functionality from anywhere in the world. Outlet measurement models are also available. Meeting all applicable compliance requirements including NEC, UL, and RoHS, Clearfield offers a NOVA PDU model that will fit your enterprise AC power distribution needs.

Features & Benefits

Space Utilization

  • 0 RU units take up no rack space in the Network or Server Cabinet, mounting in the rear of the cabinet out of the way of the relay rack. This frees up more space for servers or network switches in the rack.

Intelligence

  • Outlet, circuit and strip level monitoring and switching available depending on the selected PDU model.

  • Supporting 10/100 & gigabit LAN ethernet, Z and M series 1-phase/ 3-phase PDUs can be inter-cascaded in a single daisy-chain, up to 32

  • PDU levels, for a cost-effective solution while still providing the required level of remote management and monitoring.

Safety

  • Designed with enterprise-grade safety standards, the iPDU integrates multi-stage electrical defense to ensure maximum operational security and uptime.

  • Circuit protection features Magnetic Circuit Breakers (MCB), Earth-leakage Circuit Breakers, and resettable fuses for reliable overcurrent protection.

  • To ensure clean power delivery and uninterrupted monitoring, the unit incorporates an EMI Filter, Surge Protector, and a Residual Current Monitor (RCM) to safeguard sensitive hardware from power anomalies and ground faults.

DCIM Compatible

  • Designed for deployment in modern data centers, the iPDUs offer robust DCIM compatibility and simultaneous dual-interface management.

  • Operators can seamlessly manage and monitor power assets through either the dedicated IPM-04 software platform or an intuitive Web based GUI.

  • Featuring full support for SNMP v2c and v3 protocols, the unit integrates smoothly into a wide array of third-party Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems.
