This Clearfield Customer Shipping Policy contains guidance on the transfer of title and risk of loss for shipments of Clearfield products to Customers. Per this policy, unless otherwise mutually agreed to in writing, all shipments to Customers are designated Freight on Board (FOB) Shipping Point.

  • For products shipped from a domestic facility, title/risk of loss is transferred to the Customer when the products are picked up at the facility by the designated freight carrier or customer representative.
  • For products shipped from an international facility and Clearfield has arranged transport, title and risk of loss is transferred to the Customer when the shipment is made available for pick up by the carrier at the freight forwarder.
  • For products shipped from an international facility and the Customer has arranged transport, title and risk of loss is transferred to the Customer when the shipment is picked up at the freight forwarder by the Customer’s designated freight carrier.
