Fiber Optic Cabinets, Cables, Pedestals and Terminals

Abstract image

Clearfield has always been about sharing our experience. To start, we didn’t hire Application Engineers, we hired "Smart Guys." These are people who had implemented fiber installations in their own networks, and could share these experiences with others.

Then we created Clearfield College -- which has a series of videos and tools -- included a Learning Management System (LMS) which allows you to learn about our products at your own pace.

Now we have a Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Training School. This isn't about our products. This is about your network. FOA-certified instruction (delivered by skilled facilitators) provides the knowledge, skills and abilities that can be applied to almost any assignment in the fiber optic field -- whether related to design, installation or operations.

For more details, go to our website and you can see all the differences. I encourage you to take advantage of these snowy days, and sign up or call us to schedule a dedicated class at your site before the spring season is upon us. Why train? As we like to say, the answer to that question is found in the costliest part of a fiber deployment — labor. Time and again, training has proven to 1) Save time; 2) Empower; 3) Add value; 4) Improve workforce satisfaction; and 5) Improve First Dispatch Resolution.

We’re happy to share.
